Corporate Adviser

Corporate Adviser

Corporate Advisers play a key role in preparing applications and assessing the suitability of companies for admission to the various UK Markets. They also provide ongoing advice once companies are admitted to trading and help company directors to navigate the rules and achieve best practice as a public company.

First Sentinel is a Corporate Adviser for the following markets:

  • London Stock Exchange Standard List
  • NEX Exchange Growth Market

London Stock Exchange Standard List

Standard Listings cover issuance of shares, Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs), debt and securitised derivatives that are required to comply with EU minimum requirements. A Standard List admission enables companies to access a large pool of European capital and gain the key benefits of higher profile and liquidity.

NEX Exchange Growth Market

The  NEX Exchange Growth Market is for earlier stage entrepreneurial companies, covering the issuance of shares and debt.  All companies wishing to apply to NEX must first appoint a NEX Exchange Corporate Adviser whose role is to determine their suitability for market and to manage the application process. Following admission, the Corporate Adviser must be retained at all times and is responsible for helping companies comply with NEX Exchange’s Continuing Obligations.
