London Stock Exchange Main Market
The main market is home to over 1,300 large companies from 60 different countries and has a total market capitalisation of £3.8 trillion.
The Main Market is the LSE’s flagship market, regulated by the FCA. A company can list on the Main Market in either the Premium segment or the Standard segment, each with different regulatory standards. A company with a premium listing is expected to meet the UK’s highest standards of regulation and corporate governance. A standard listing allows companies to access the Main Market by meeting EU harmonised standards, a lower regulatory burden.
